Since April 1970 Consolidated Cargo and Customs Services have provided the complete service required to the importer.

When your order of overseas goods is filled simply fax or email a copy of the relevant shipping documents to us or alternatively have them sent directly to us from your overseas supplier.

We will then monitor the progress of your goods and advise you of the estimated delivery date of your goods once they are loaded onto an ocean vessel. Our inward seafreight department will fax to you confirmation that your import job has been received by us and that it is now safely in our hands.

Our Managing Director, Tony Mercaldi with over forty years experience in the industry, will personally classify your goods using the Australian Customs Services Tariff Codes, as required by Customs Law. The classification of your goods will determine what customs duty is payable to bring your goods into Australia. It is crucial that the classification is done correctly as there are severe penalties and costs associated with an incorrect classification.

Once your goods have landed in Australia Consolidated Cargo and Customs Services will closely monitor the availability of your goods to enable them to be removed and delivered to you A.S.A.P. We will take your shipment through all the processes that may be stipulated by Australian Quarantine Inspection Services (AQIS)
